Virginia - Kentucky - Running in the shadow of Daniel Boone

“I have never been lost but I was bewildered once for three days.”  I learned this Daniel Boone quote when I was in Scouts, and based on my Google Earth map research, I thought that it might be confusing following this trail. But 200-300 thousand pioneers had passed before me and it is now smooth and well-marked. Of course, there are still a few hills. Easy access from the Daniel Boone Visitor Center or the Iron Furnace parking lot in downtown Cumberland Gap.
