Oklahoma - New Mexico - State Line Road - The Land of Enchantment is also a place where you sweat even though the air is dry. Near Clayton, NM. No one else was out running near here that day. Oh well, they might have thought that my Crazy Ass Running Plan #CARPe really is "enchanting."

Oklahoma - Texas - Multiple State Lines to Run

Oklahoma - Texas State Line Run - Nice warm day among the golden scenery with the occasional leap over a cattle guard on the dirt road. Texas State Line Road and Oklahoma State line Road both run from Highway 64 along their border with New Mexico & meet for a tri-point marker - actually 2 survey markers that are a hundred yards apart. Part of my Crazy Ass Running Plan #CARPe plan, or just some crazy surveyors back in the day?

Oklahoma - Missouri - Relocating the State border run

Oklahoma - Missouri  State border run - 2 different tri-state markers representing 4 states. The old big historical marker below has been relocated to a plaque on the ground 30 feet away. The sun is warm enough that I shed my hat, shirt & gloves for a photo to illustrate that - even at the risk of exposing my winter love handles.

Oklahoma - Kansas  State border run near Joplin Missouri & closer to Downstream Casino in OK. Buffaloes grazing nearby. Tri state area with MO KS OK.

Oklahoma - Arkansas - Got a Problem Run

Oklahoma - Arkansas  State border run. Nice run from downtown past the old fort to the bridge across the Arkansas River to the Moffett Stockyards in Oklahoma. Nice sidewalk on the bridge. Any extra mileage should be done on the Arkansas side - maybe on the river trail. A couple of nice guys in their truck slowed down and asked "Y'all got a problem?" If they only knew.
