I ran across the state line from South Dakota to Montana in July. We had to take a dirt road 25 miles from Alzada, Montana, to get to it and another 15 afterwards to hit the highway in South Dakota. When we made it back to the paved road, there was a gate with a lock on it. Fortunately, it was unlocked.
