Ohio to West Virginia - Pickup - State lines

Ohio to West Virginia - Run State lines

Governor Earl Ray Tomblin, to my knowledge, has never run across this bridge, but he does run the "Wild & Wonderful" state of West Virginia. I took a break in the middle of the bridge to look at the Ohio River. It just keeps getting bigger as it flows downstream. It has already defeated me once near Ft. Defiance, on the border with Illinois. Today was my turn.

Most of the running on this route has to be done on the East Liverpool, Ohio, side through the town, since there isn't much pedestrian-friendly access on the West Virginia side. While I had a sunny day, the pedestrian lane of the bridge should be okay for running even in the winter months. Thanks to the Ladies at Java Jo over on East 5th Street for helping with the planning and for fueling me up with caffeine. Their motto is: "We've bean expecting you", but they seemed surprised to see me & hear about my Crazy Ass Running Plan. #CARPe
